Transitioning to a new class is a particularly significant change for children. We started transition planning in Term 5 and the significant dates are given below. Parents, guardians and staff will be liaised with shortly as the next placements are considered.
Transitioning activities take place during Term 6. The main dates to keep in mind are:
Early Years Transitioning
Tuesday 23rd June 1.30 – 2:30pm – Early Years Stay & Play for our new Early Years students when parents can stay to get a flavour of the activities children will be involved in.
Wednesday 1st July 9.30am – 10.30am – Coffee Morning with Victoria Kingsnorth, our Parent and Families Support Advisor
10.30am – 11.00 am – Early Years New Parents Meeting
Thursday 9th July 1.30pm – 2.30 pm – Early Years Stay & Play (No Parents)
Primary and Secondary School Transitioning
Transition Day – Shuffle up day for all pupils Wednesday 1st July
Wednesday 1st July 11.00am – 12.00am – New Starters Parents Meeting.
