Directions
The Mendip School is located just off the A371 next to the Bath and West Showground. If travelling south from Shepton Mallet, 500 yards past the Prestleigh Inn pub, turn right into Edmund Rack Road where the road widens and follow the sign for the school and the Green field Café.
If travelling north on the A371 from the direction of Castle Carey, 500 yards past the main entrance to the Bath and West Showground, turn left into Edmund Rack Road where the road widens and follow the sign for the school and the Green field Café.

Visitor Parking
Visitors to The Mendip School are welcome to park in the main car park if there is a space. All users of the school car park are expected to familiarise themselves with the Traffic Management Plan and adhere to the procedures outlined therein. All users of the car park do so at their own risk. The Mendip School accepts no liability for any accidents, damage, or loss occurring on school premises.
Visitor parking is indicated by the green box in the image below.
If you are visiting the café, or the main school between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm, there is space to park in the layby outside the café. This is indicated by the red box immediately outside the school in the image below. Please note that most pupils arrive on school transport and we need this area to be clear before 9.30am and from 2.30pm until 3.30pm.
If there is no parking in the main school car park, please make use of the overflow parking at the bottom of the road leading to the school. Please DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD leading to the school so that it remains clear for local residents. if you park on the road leading to the school, you WILL be asked to move your vehicle.
