Elm Class

Elm Class is made up of pupils from year 5 to 9. We are a ready to learn class, developing our skills academically, whilst continuing to build upon on life skills to support us for the future.

Hi I am Sian and have been teaching for over 20 years, 15 of those have been spent in Special Education, which is my passion. Outside of school my three boys keep me very busy and on weekends, I can normally be found stood at the side of a rugby or football pitch!

Hello, I’m Jodie. I have nearly four years of experience working in a SEN residential school, as well as previous experience supporting adults with autism. I started at Mendip School in June last year and am passionate about providing positive, person-centred support.

I’m a bubbly and energetic person who enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, and looking after my two children.
