Hi, I’m Izzy. I’m currently in my second year of teaching and am excited to continue my journey in education. I’m passionate about watching children learn and grow, and I love being able to make a positive difference in their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active through sport, spending quality time with family and friends, and relaxing at home with my cat

I’m Nich (Tonicha). I’ve been at The Mendip School since November 2025. I previously worked in adult social care within supported living, focusing on life skills for adults with additional needs. I moved into a classroom setting to use my experience to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, reading, and art. I live with my husband and our two young daughters. I’m really enjoying Birch class and look forward to the upcoming term!

I joined The Mendip School family in April 2024. I have a real passion for helping children grow, watching them progress and learn new things. Before I started working at The Mendip School, I supported individuals with autism and disabilities in a residential setting and the community. I believe in working with a person-centred approach, as everyone is different, and what may work for one may not work for another. When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my children, partner (normally singing and dancing around the kitchen), and the rest of my family. I enjoy listening to music, going to the beach, swimming, long muddy walks, mini golf, taking my children to the park, watching rugby and watching my children take part in their sporting activities.
