Deaf Awareness Week – 10.05.2021

This week is Deaf Awareness Week.

I had the opportunity to be a part of a BSL Signalong version of Garry Barlow’s Sing with my Sign Choir along with other people from other backgrounds. Garry Barlow was also amazing at letting the Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC Ability change the words slightly for this occasion. It was a pleasure to learn the whole song in two 1hour workshops led by my signchoir leader who is also a Deaf SignSong Performer called Fletch@.
