Silver Class
Silver class is a nurture group focusing on helping children build social skills, emotional resilience and positive behaviour strategies. Our children are aged between 8-10 and work hard on our Reading, writing, maths and speaking and listening skills every day. This is alongside lots of other curricular subject such as science, art, humanities, PSHE, PE and much more.
We love to have lots of fun in silver class and love to be very hands on with our learning!
Our Staff
Sophie Viner
I am the class teacher in silver class. This is my first year at the Mendip School and before working here I was a Behaviour mentor in a mainstream primary school. I love spending time with all my animals at home especially going on adventures with my two dogs.
Talia Presley
I work in silver class as a teaching assistant 3 days a week. I have been within the trust for 6 year and have been at The Mendip School for just over a year now. In my spare time I like to take my dog for walks and spend time with my family.
Shoshannah Lee
I’m a full time Teaching Assistant in the lovely Silver class and have 5 years previous experience working in SEN environments. I love spending time outside exploring and working out in my free time.
Rosie and Tilly
We are Rosie and Tilly; we are part of silver class too! We love having cuddles and eating lots of veggies! We also like adventures to the field and eating all the Daffodils!
