What a busy term we have had at The Mendip School. All of the pupils have been amazing and we have enjoyed lots of lovely experiences together. As you may know we love being outside at The Mendip School.  Being outside helps us to practise our social interactions with our friends, broaden our experiences and really supports our sensory and emotional regulation.

One of my personal highlights was having lambs in school for a week, the pupils really enjoyed caring for them and giving them their bottles. Lots of the pupils wanted us to keep them (me too)! We have loved having Ocean Rock into school who have been providing outdoor activities, whatever the weather. We are always up for anything outside at The Mendip School so this has been great for all of the pupils involved. Ocean Rock commented on how engaged and polite our pupils have been – well done everyone! During the Easter holidays we had our fantastic mud kitchen built. Getting muddy has never been so much fun! I can’t wait to see what adventures we get up to next.
