Author Visit!

We were very luck to welcome the very successful children’s author, Mike Brownlow, into school this year. He told us how he gets his ideas and showed us how he illustrates his books. Then we all got to have a go and even got some autographs!

World Book Day 2023

This year, we all had a class theme and dressed up as book characters with our peers. We had a visit from an Author and Illustrator who showed us how he comes up with ideas and gave us a ‘draw along’ session where we learned how to illustrate his stories! Each class completed activities throughout the day relating to their theme and KS3 and 4 even had a quidditch game together!
