Press Briefing:

“We have had to take the sad step of closing our school to a bubble of children today, as a member of our community has tested positive for Covid-19.

Given the school’s extensive preparation, and how much the children have all enjoyed being back, it is with a heavy heart we have had to take this step. However, it is right that we follow all the guidelines that have been set, and the health and safety of our school community has to be our priority.

Those children that are away from school will be provided with home learning and the school is working closely with Public Health England, supported by Somerset Council, following the advice that they are providing us with in relation to closure and cleaning of the site.”

Letter to All Parents 28.8.201.docx

Message from The Bath and Mendip Partnership Trust:

Over the course of the summer break, schools across the Trust have been preparing to reopen to all pupils at the start of the new academic year.

As part of the in-depth planning process, all schools have carried out a comprehensive risk assessment in line with Government Guidance.   Those risk assessments and the procedures related to them will be reviewed regularly and in line with guidance.  You can find out more about Government Guidance on the reopening of schools here.  Should you wish to see the risk assessment for your child’s school, please contact the school or Trust office who will be able to provide you with a copy.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming back all pupils and all schools will endeavor to make the environment as familiar as possible whilst adhering to Government Guidance.
